Mama Makes: Wool Fleece Christmas Angels

Sunday 19 November 2017

I’ve put together a creative making tutorial to inspire a little Christmas making….These sweet wool fleece Christmas Angels make a beautiful gift tucked into a card at Christmas time or for an end of year gift for teachers. They are a very simple sewing project that you will be able to make with children ages 5+.

For this project you will need:

Wool fleece – you can buy from Winterwood or Indigo Inspirations (for this video I used two pieces 20cm long)

English Leister or coloured wool fleece for the hair – coloured wool fleece can also be bought from Winterwood or Indigo Inspirations

White/ Cream Embroidery thread or waxed quilting thread

Gold thread

Needles

Scissors

Optional gold sequin/ star for crown

If you make one, I’d love to know how you go OR tag your picture on instragram using #mindfulmamalove #beeingmama
