Hello lovely ones.... Life is full of change for me right now. I am in mid transition and holy fuck it feels hard. Showing up when my life feels as it does is just not what I’m good at but I decided to give it a try. 😳 I’ve been sorting and tidying the garage and came across so many half finished knitting projects. My time working as a Waldorf handcraft teacher taught me that Knitting is not something that brings me joy!! I actually find it dull and boring, although I absolutely LOVE the finished product. So I took the joy of snipping it all off. Can’t wait to show you what I’ve used it all for.
If life feels as messy and challenging as it does for me right now, believe that this is an amazing beginning of something you could have never planned, but that’s taking you closer to who YOU really are and what you’ve come to earth to do. ✌🏻

I keep meaning to share some more pictures of the little wool felt butterflies. These are the ones I attached with wire onto the spring garland time lapse. So many options of how you could use them ....I’ll share another way I’ve used them tomorrow. If you make some tag me!

The girls made a clothes line and washed the dolls clothes.... he thought he help out 💓 swipe to the end for a video. A bit of a treat to capture a moment like this without interrupting his play. Creating time and space for play is essential.... it’s so important for us as parents not to over fill the school holidays with play dates and activities.

Impromptu getaway for a few days to start the school holidays. It’s been more than 2 years since we’ve gone away together which seems totally crazy but i seem to get sucked into a motherhood void the first few years where I find getting away harder than any potential joy of being away. Anyway I’ve let go of that outdated belief!! I won’t lie as you all know holidaying with a toddler is busy but it’s lovely to have a change of scene. It’s also the first time we’ve driven on the beach. How incredibly gorgeous are the colours and textures in the sand dunes!

So this is one way I used those little felt butterflies i made in my last time lapse. Some foraged branches made into a simple spring crown ...
I also could imagine it as a beautiful centerpiece for your spring table. I’ll share some more detailed pictures later... enjoy xx

Play room .... I’m constantly simplifying and refreshing. Recently I’ve been dreaming up a few changes. I have a gorgeous branch that’s waiting patiently to be hung and a few other ideas that I’m excited to implement. I love creating beautiful places for my children to play but it’s also super important that the space is practical and not over cluttered. Anyone else love create beauty in the playroom!?
