Wool Felt Ice Cream Cones
Welcome to the Wool Felt Ice Cream Cones project! I am so excited to share these – as I really do love creating simple treasures that can encourage imaginary play. This is a really lovely and enjoyable beginner level sewing project. It’s perfect if you are new to hand sewing or you’d just like a simple and fun project.
This is the perfect project to encourage imaginative kitchen play…or maybe you’ll set up an ice cream shop or a beach side cafe! Turn over an old shoe box and cut some holes to make an ice cream holder. Alternatively, if you like working with wood, make one from a fallen branch! It’s also another simple project that pairs so well with the Sew Magical Tea Party workshop!
I really love the double gauze cotton fabric for the tops of these ice creams as the fabric just sits so nicely and has so much texture…however any other light weight cotton also looks lovely.
I’d love to teach you to make these wool felt ice cream cones for imaginative play. You can find the full video tutorials, pattern & material list can be found inside the Sewing Circle, our membership filled with hands sewn treasures for a magical childhood and a community of like minded women!
